Deleting Your Account
Deleting your account gives you a 30-day grace period: signing back in during that window cancels the deletion. A live subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled there first.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion is available in the Chlorofishy mobile app. If you only use the website and want your account deleted, email [email protected] and we'll handle it.
What happens to a subscription I'm paying for?
If you subscribed on the website, deleting your account cancels it immediately as part of the same request, not at the end of your current billing period, and without a refund for time remaining. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play instead, you have to cancel that subscription in the store first; account deletion is blocked until you do, since we can't cancel a store subscription on your behalf.
Can I change my mind?
Yes, for 30 days. Signing back in any time during that window automatically cancels the deletion and restores your account. After 30 days, deletion is final and can't be undone.
If I restore my account, does my subscription come back too?
No. Restoring within the grace period brings your account back, but a website subscription that was canceled at deletion stays canceled; you'd need to subscribe again. And because your account still shows a prior subscription on record, that new subscription won't include another trial; see how the trial works for why. If your original plan was through the App Store or Google Play and you never canceled it there, that subscription isn't affected by any of this.
