Choosing a Plan
Chlorofishy has three paid tiers by region count (one region, two regions, or worldwide), and every tier unlocks the same features: satellite passes, buoys, and alerts for the region(s) it covers. See pricing for current rates.
What's the actual difference between the tiers?
Only region coverage changes: the feature set is identical at every paid tier. The 1-region and 2-region plans give you satellite passes, buoys, and alerts for the region(s) you pick (and you can swap them later), while the Worldwide plan covers all 38 of Chlorofishy's fishing regions at once, with nothing to pick or swap. Composite imagery is unscoped by region and always current on every paid tier.
When would I need Worldwide instead of one or two regions?
If you fish more than two areas regularly, or an area outside your plan's region often, Worldwide removes the need to track or swap coverage. There's also one specific edge case: a small number of buoy stations (mainly on the Great Lakes) sit outside all 38 fishing regions entirely. Those stations are only readable on the Worldwide plan, regardless of which single or paired regions a 1- or 2-region plan covers.
